ATV State Legislative Resource Bank

The Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) recognizes and appreciates the diversity of state positions on the matter of ATV safety regulation. To the extent that regulation of rider behavior (helmet laws, age/use restrictions, etc.) is a matter more appropriately addressed and effectively enforced by state and local governments, the resource bank is intended to assist lawmakers and policy advocates with the development of practical measures aimed at improving rider safety.
